Mardi Gras At Taphouse Sydney

We hosted a series of special Mardi Gras events from 14th February to 2nd March, 2025.

Applejack Hospitality is a proud partner of the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras 2025. We’re celebrating over a decade of active support for the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras and the broader LGBTQIA+ community.

From Karaoke Queens serenading all the lovers on Valentine’s Day, our Drag Brunch, Sip & Slay Bottomless and Parade Day Party, Taphouse was the place to be.

We also offered a special cocktail menu, with highlights chosen from our annual Mardi Gras Cocktail Competition. $1 from each cocktail sold was donated to Rainbow Families, the leading voice for LGBTQ+ families in Australia.

Parade Day Party

We celebrated with an EPIC party on Saturday, 1st March. We’re right on the parade path so head in for cocktails, great vibes and tunes that will keep you dancing all night long.

Sip & Slay Bottomless

Our bottomless offering was available all day and was here to slay! The $99pp offering featured a menu of Chinese tasting platters and a 2-hour beverage package which included craft beers, wines and a Four Pillars cocktail on arrival.

Darlo's Big Drag Brunch

We channeled our inner queens for two Big Drag Brunches in February and March, 2025. We were delighted to host Queen’s Dominque Topp, Jackie Daniels, Fairah Nuff and Dammit Janet who took over the rooftop, with stunning performances, good vibes and their signature sass.

Drag Trivia

Our weekly trivia night got a fabulous Mardi Gras makeover with special guest host Kalin Klein.

Karaoke Queen's Valentine's Day

We kicked off Mardi Gras and celebrated Valentine’s Day with the ultimate love song karaoke party. Our fabulous drag queen host guided singers through a night of power ballads, romantic duets, and heartfelt dedications.
