At Taphouse, we’re all about crafting unforgettable moments for our guests. The three distinct levels of our Darlinghurst Pub provide the ideal backdrop for any kind of event, with options for external styling and decor.
From the warm timber panelling and earthy tones of our Public Bar and Level 1, to the relaxing sun-drenched rooftop, our versatile spaces can be tailored for a sit down or cocktail style event.
The Chinese menu has been created in collaboration with Applejack Director Of Culinary Patrick Friesen and Head Chef Mulianto, chosen to highlight some of our favourite flavours. You’ll have the choice between selecting from a variety of roaming canapés or our shared platters that are sure to leave a lasting impression on your guests.

Main Bar
With a timber bar taking pride of place in the Public Bar, it offers a cosy space that is suited for informal group bookings. Ideal for ale enthusiasts, guests will have the chance to enjoy direct access to all 20 beers on tap from the main bar, and DJs spinning tunes Wednesday to Saturday from 7pm. This space can accommodate 70 people seated or 100 people for a cocktail-style event.

With high ceilings and natural light flooding every nook of the space, Level 1 is ideal for larger groups and events. Offering a private bar and TV screen, this versatile space is suitable for both social and corporate group bookings, accommodating 100 people for a cocktail style event.

Rooftop
The rooftop terrace with a fully retractable roof, has been adorned in a palette of crisp whites and calming blues. Whitewashed furnishings and bespoke white and linen umbrellas complete the ensemble, evoking the relaxing ambiance of a European holiday in this urban city retreat. Available to hire exclusively, it can accommodate up to 80 people standing, and is ideal for birthday's, social gatherings, bridal showers and more.
